Women’s Ministry will be planning a craft retreat each Sunday on Sept. 6, 20, and 27 at 1:00 p.m. at the home of Dona Young. There are sign-up sheets in the foyer for you to choose what Sunday, and what craft you’d like to do. You may do as many as you like. There will be no charge. Come and have a good time.

Drive-In and Drop Off Shower Because of the recent loss of Joselyn in the house fire and explosion, baby Jaxen, and his dad, Cody, are having to begin a new life. Will you join us in doing what we can to make this transition a little easier for them? On Sunday, Sept. 6, we will be holding a DRIVE-IN and DROP-OFF shower for them at the Gentry Seventh-day Adventist Youth Center from 2:00-4:00 p.m. They have experienced the total loss of all their belongings including clothing, baby items and everything needed to make a house a home. Jaxen is 9 months old and is wearing 12-18 month size clothes, but will also need clothes as he grows. Please bring new or very gently used household items. Gift wrapping would be nice, but not required. They are registered at Wal-Mart and Target under the name of CODY PHARRIS. Gift cards or a money gift would be welcome. Adopt a Dorm Daughter or Dorm Dude Today! 63 OAA dorm students need our prayers and Christian love. This ministry involves sending the students notes, cards, and small gifts (mostly food) from now until Thanksgiving. You may choose to let them know who you are, or keep your identity secret until Thanksgiving. Contact Bonnie Pendergrass to adopt your student.
