Next All Church Fellowship Meal will be on Nov. 16.  Thank you for bringing plenty of food. 

 

A Harvest of Blessings Tree Every week till Nov. 16 each family is encouraged to bring the suggested items to put under our harvest tree.  During the Kids story time the items will be collected. Your participation will be appreciated to help those in need canned green beans, canned peas, canned olives.

 

Campmeeting Committee Meeting Mark your calendar for Sunday night, Nov. 10, at 6:30 p.m.

 

Sabbath School Council Meeting will meet Sabbath afternoon Nov. 16, at 1:30 p.m. after potluck.

 

String Players Needed  Ozark Adventist Academy is looking for skilled violinists, violists, cellists, and bassists to form a volunteer orchestra for their annual Music Festival taking place the first week in December. Devotional and Sharing Books  If you are interested in ordering your new devotional and sharing books for 2020 you may order them from Sleepy Hollow.   If you would like a brochure stop by the church office.

 

Northern Arkansas Area Town Hall Meeting Nov. 23 at 6:00 p.m. You are invited to join the Conference Officers at a Town Hall meeting to be held in the Gentry Church Community Room.  These meetings are designed to dialogue about what is happening in the ARK-LA Conference and to plan for its future.

 

Keep in Prayer Thursday morning our faithful church member, Gertrude Scott, passed away.  She will be missed.  There will be details later on funeral arrangements.

Baby Shower for Brayston and Miranda Gunneman (son of Tanya Gunneman and grandson of Wes and Barbara Fitzpatrick) on Sun. Nov.17, in the Community Room from 2:00-4:00.  The couple are registered at Target and Amazon.

 

A HUGE ”Thank You” to our church family and Deacon’s for helping clear storm damage at our homes.  Through their efforts we now have greater access on our driveway, cleared the tree off Mom’s mobile home, and reclaimed our front yard.  If you are looking for a place to cut your firewood, call.  Thank you for your prayers.  Jack and Teresa Regal and Gertrude Scott.

 

Pettey Study Group will meet at the Pettey home on Nov. 23, at 3:00 p.m.  Bring your Great Controversy Book. There will be  dinner and social time after the study.

 

Women’s Ministry will be collecting socks this year for the  homeless and needy.  There will be a box in the hallway for you to put your sock donation

 

1st Annual Gentry Travelers take-n-bake Apple Pie Fundraiser! We will be taking orders through Nov. 19 for freshly made apple pies that you can take and bake later for Thanksgiving or Christmas or whatever special occasion you have coming up! Options are: sugar free, crumb topping, or regular crust.

Orders will be ready for pick up on Sunday the 24th at 5pm. We will NOT be delivering so please remember to pick up your pie! Thank you for supporting each one of your Gentry pathfinder kids! We appreciate you!!

 

Dorm Daughter/Secret Mom Reveal Party is scheduled for Saturday night, Dec 7 from 7:00-9:00.  Stay tuned for more details. 

 

Social Event on Saturday night, Nov. 16 at the OAA gym from 7:00-9:30 p.m.   There will be multi-directional volleyball for all ages plus refreshments.
