Our Next Food Collection for the Christmas baskets will Dec. 14.   Bring fresh bread and fruit.

 

Prayer Meeting cancelled on Wed. evening, Nov. 27.  Take time to spend with your family.

 

Women’s Ministry will be collecting socks this year for the homeless and needy.  There will be a box in the hallway for your sock donations.

 

OAA Junior Class Benefit Breakfast at the Youth Center on Sunday morning, Nov. 24. From 8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.  It will be on a donation basis.

 

Labels The only labels you need to save is Worthington/Loma Linda, Loma and Cedar Lake.  No longer taking Morning Star or Box Tops.

 

Northern Arkansas Area Town Hall Meeting Nov. 23 at 6:00 p.m. You are invited to join the Conference Officers at a Town Hall meeting to be held in the Gentry Church Community Room.  These meetings are designed to dialogue about what is happening in the ARK-LA Conference and to plan for its future.

 

The OAA Class of 2020 invites you to their Senior Variety Show and Program next Sat. night, Nov. 23, at the OAA Auditorium at 7:00 p.m.  They promise to entertain you and maybe bring back some school day memories.  There are some great items in the auction:  pies, cheesecake, cakes, basketballs and a volleyball, and of course, the class quilt plus some never before seen items.  Come and support the class of 2020.

 

Ladies Eat Out   Plan on joining us at Taqueria El Rancho,  602 E. Jefferson St. Siloam Springs, on Thursday Dec. 5, at 12:30 p.m. All ladies are welcome.

1st Annual Gentry Travelers Take-n-Bake Apple Pie Fundraiser! We will be taking orders through Nov. 19 for freshly made apple pies that you can take and bake later for Thanksgiving or Christmas or whatever special occasion you have coming up! Options are: sugar free, crumb topping, or regular crust. 

How to order: contact your local Gentry Pathfinder, place an order through the Pathfinder's Facebook page, or contact/text Stephanie Waggoner at 509-869-0367. Orders will be ready for pick up on Sunday the 24th at 5pm. We will NOT be delivering so please remember to pick up your pie! Thank you for supporting each one of your Gentry pathfinder kids! We appreciate you!!

 

Dorm Daughter/Secret Mom Reveal Party Saturday night Dec. 7 at 7:00 pm in the Gentry Church Youth Center.  Prizes will be awarded in several categories for the best "Ugly Sweaters".  So wear a festive sweater or sweatshirt.  Please bring finger foods to share and a small gift for your dorm daughter.  Help is still needed for decorating and food setup.  Contact Bonnie Pendergrass at 479-233-0001 if you are willing to help or have any further questions. 

 

Devotional and Sharing Books  If you are interested in ordering your new devotional and sharing books for 2020 you may order them from Sleepy Hollow.   If you would like a brochure stop by the greeters stands.

God’s House Project

The Board voted to launch new projects for God’s House.

Thank you for all the many projects you have helped with in the past to make God’s House a better place.

Goal - $10,000

         1. New Chairs for the Kindergarten Sabbath School room.

   2.  Purchase and installation of new Hearing Assist technology for ADA compliance.

         3. Fiber optic line between the church and youth center to support the TV feed to the kitchen and  future projects.

           4.  Purchase of three more security cameras.
