Board Meeting  on Mon. evening, Nov. 18 at 6:30 p.m.

 

A Harvest of Blessings Tree. For next Sabbath, Nov. 23 the items will be crackers, cake mix and frosting.  Later on, Dec. 14 when the TLC is closer to packing the baskets, we will have you bring bread and fresh fruit. 

 

Viewing and Service for Gertrude Scott will be Sunday afternoon, Nov. 17.  Viewing will be from 12:30-1:30 p.m. with the service following at 1:30 p.m. at the Wasson Funeral home.

 

Women’s Ministry will be collecting socks this year for the  homeless and needy.  There will be a box in the hallway for your sock donations.

 

Pettey Study Group will meet this afternoon, Nov. 16, at 3:00 p.m.  Please note the change in the date. Bring your Great Controversy Book.

 

Sabbath School Council Meeting will meet this afternoon Nov. 16, at 1:30 p.m. after potluck.

 

Social Event tonight, Nov. 16, at the OAA gym from 7:00-9:30 p.m.   There will be multi-directional volleyball for all ages.  If you could bring or donate finger snacks like cookies, vege tray, brownies, etc. You can bring to the church office or take them to the OAA gym when you come.

 

Girls Club Garage Sale will be Sunday Nov. 17 from 10:30-3:30 in the Youth Center.  Come and help support the ladies. At OAA

 

OAA Junior Class Benefit Breakfast at the Youth Center on Sunday morning, Nov. 24. From 8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.  It will be on a donation basis.

Baby Shower for Brayston and Miranda Gunneman (son of Tanya Gunneman and grandson of Wes and Barbara Fitzpatrick) on Sun. Nov.17, in the Community Room from 2:00-4:00.  The couple are registered at Target and Amazon.

1st Annual Gentry Travelers Take-n-Bake Apple Pie Fundraiser! We will be taking orders through Nov. 19 for freshly made apple pies that you can take and bake later for Thanksgiving or Christmas or whatever special occasion you have coming up! Options are: sugar free, crumb topping, or regular crust.

Orders will be ready for pick up on Sunday the 24th at 5pm. We will NOT be delivering so please remember to pick up your pie! Thank you for supporting each one of your Gentry pathfinder kids! We appreciate you!!

 

Dorm Daughter/Secret Mom Reveal Party is scheduled for Saturday night, Dec 7, from 7:00-9:00 p.m..  Stay tuned for more details. 

 

Northern Arkansas Area Town Hall Meeting Nov. 23 at 6:00 p.m. You are invited to join the Conference Officers at a Town Hall meeting to be held in the Gentry Church Community Room.  These meetings are designed to dialogue about what is happening in the ARK-LA Conference and to plan for its future.

 

Cheryl Roque is at Encompass Rehab in Fayetteville in Room 121.  She would appreciate visitors and prayers during her rehab.

 

Devotional and Sharing Books  If you are interested in ordering your new devotional and sharing books for 2020 you may order them from Sleepy Hollow.   If you would like a brochure stop by the greeters stands.

 

Memorial Service for Val Periman will be this afternoon, Nov. 16,  at 2:30 p.m. at the Siloam Spring SDA Church.
