Announcements for Jan. 26, 2019

Next Church Fellowship Meal will be Feb. 2.  Thank you for bringing plenty of food to share. 

 Game Night/Vespers will be Jan. 26, at 5:30.  Bring the family for a fun time together!   Bring sandwiches, fruit, and snacks.

Baby Shower You are invited to a “Teddy Bear” picnic baby shower for Brooke and Ryan Hiebert on Sun. Jan, 27 at 5:30 p.m. in the Youth Center. Their new baby boy will arrive soon. They are registered at Wal-Mart and Amazon. Husbands, wives, and everyone are invited.

Ladies Eat Out on Thursday, Feb. 7, at 12:30 p.m. at Soup and Salad in Siloam Springs.  All ladies are invited to come.

Help Needed If you would be able to help with transportation, occasionally, for a church member to go to medical appointments, please call the church as soon as possible.

Year-end Contribution Statements will be ready for you to pick up today by the church office door.

 Total Life Community Center has had several needy families come in for food baskets and the food pantry is running low on food items. We are in need of non-perishable item such as canned vegetables, boxes of macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, Ramen Noodles, etc. you may drop the items off at the Total Life Community Center or place them in the TLC box in the hallway of the church.  Thank-you for supporting your community.

The Miracle Worker, a play by William Gibson, is as much Annie Sullivan's story as it is Helen Keller's. Annie's belief that Helen Keller could and would learn language through the means of sign language is a remarkable story of courage and perseverance. Presented by the Ozark Adventist Academy Drama class, The Miracle Worker will be performed at 7 p.m. on Feb. 2 in the OAA Auditorium. Tickets are $5 and are available at the door. This will include a Bake Sale. If you like to donate baked goods for a fund raiser for the OAA Drama class, it would appreciated.  Bring your baked goods to the church office on Friday morning, Feb. 1, or when you come to church on Sabbath, Feb. 2.  All Items must be individually wrapped.  Please contact Dona Young for any questions, or if you need her to pick up your items.  There will two intermissions during the program for you to help support the team with your purchases.

Junior Sabbath School Class will be having a potluck today, Sabbath, Jan. 26, at the home of Brien and Jackie Katsuren (Note the change of location).  If you have children in grades 4-6 feel free to join us today after church.  Please bring your favorite foods to share.

Dorm Dude  There are several dorm dudes still available for adoption.  Bonnie and Travis will be out of town today, but if you would like to participate in this ministry please call Bonnie Pendergrass at 479-233-0001.

Day Camp will be here before you know it.  Registration opens April 1, but right now we are in urgent need of your prayers and financial support.

Part-Time Commercial Cleaning Position open at the Gentry church (15 hours a week.)  Please submit resume with references included and turn into the church office by Fri., Feb. 1.

OAS Basketball Fundraiser Bake Sale on Friday Feb. 1 outside the school at noon. This will help pay for the upcoming Bobcat Classic Tournament cost.
