All Church Fellowship Meal following the church service today in the Youth Center.   

 

Music Festival Concert Ozark Adventist Academy will be presenting a Christmas concert this afternoon, Dec. 7th at 3:30 p.m. in the Gentry SDA Church. Students from around the conference in grades five through ten will be joining Ozark Adventist Academy students in presenting our annual Christmas Concert during Music Festival Weekend.

 

Our Next Food Collection for the Christmas baskets will Dec. 14.   Bring fresh bread and fruit.

 

Dorm Daughter/Secret Mom Reveal Party Saturday night, Dec. 7, at 7:00 pm in the Gentry Church Youth Center.  Prizes will be awarded in several categories for the best "Ugly Sweaters".  So wear a festive sweater or sweatshirt.  Please bring finger foods to share and a small gift for your dorm daughter.  Help is still needed for decorating and food setup.  Contact Bonnie Pendergrass at 479-233-0001 if you are willing to help or have any further questions.

Thank You A big thank you to Forrest and Jeanie Davis for throwing our wedding shower, and a big thank you to all of you who gave us gifts.  They will be much appreciated as we make our life with God a special one.  Thank you for being a great church family!

“From Christmas to the Cross” We are beginning to plan for the live nativity 2019.   If you would like to participate in some way    please contact Judy Fetter at 804-874-9430 or euglena1370@yahoo.com Next event will be building scenes.  Dec. 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 12. Noon.

 

Live Nativity Walk Through will be Dec. 13 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. and Sabbath afternoon Dec. 14 from 3:00-6:00 p.m. on the campus of Ozark Adventist Academy.  A fully costumed cast of 100  members, as well as a wide variety of animals and live music will bring the Christmas story to life.   Experience the sights and sounds of not only Christ’s birth, but also His life, crucifixion and resurrection as a leader guides your group throughout thirteen different scenes.

 

 

Devotional and Sharing Books  If you are interested in ordering your new devotional and sharing books for 2020 you may order them from Sleepy Hollow.   If you would like a brochure stop by the greeters stands.

 

 

Women’s Ministry will be collecting socks this year for the homeless and needy.  There will be a box in the hallway for your sock donations.

 

Diabetes Undone Series January 4, 11, 18 and 25 from 2:00-5:00 pm. Location will be at the Springdale Adventist Fellowship 4001 W. Pettey Study Group will meet on Sabbath afternoon, Dec. 21, at 3:00 p.m. at the Pettey home. Please bring your Great Controversy book.

Cookies Needed for the nativity walk through on Dec. 13 and 14.  We will be serving hot chocolate and cookies to our guest that come.  Please put two cookies per individual baggie and bring them to the front office at the OAA Ad building on Wed. Dec.11 to noon on Friday. Dec. 13.  There will be a tub in the office to collect the cookies in.  Thank you for considering to help have this little gift to offer to our guests.

The Board voted to launch new projects for God’s House.

Thank you for all the many projects you have helped with in the past to make God’s House a better place.

 

  1. New Chairs for the Kindergarten Sabbath School room.

 

  1. Purchase and installation of new Hearing Assist technology for ADA compliance.

 

  1. Fiber optic line between the church and youth center

to support the TV feed to the kitchen and future projects.

 

  1. Purchase of three more security cameras.
