We projected 102 students to be enrolled, but we were excited to see the enrollment grow to 115 students! God is good! Thank you for your support to our school. If you want to learn more about OAS, you can contact us at 479-279-8700 or visit us online at OzarkAdventistSchool.Org. Continue to pray for a wonderful school year. Blessings to you all.

Women’s Ministry Sabbath Cancelled Please note the Women’s Ministry Sabbath church program scheduled for Sept.  14 has been cancelled .

Ladies Save the Date Women’s Ministry is planning a local Women’s Ministry Retreat on Oct. 25, 26, 27.  Watch for more details later.  Location will be at the Embassy Suites in Rogers.

Women’s Ministry Friendship Bags We will be circulating friendship bags at church with goodies inside.  Take a bag and then replace items in the bag and pass it along to some else.  We are reaching out to people we don’t know and would like to get to know better.  You are personally to give it to someone and preferably not a family member.  If you receive a bag and do not wish to participate return it to greeter’s stands.

Ozark Elementary School is looking for volunteers on Friday mornings to help a couple of hours with the STEAM program.  We are looking for 3 types of volunteers for our STEAM TEAM.

  1. Individuals who are organized and enjoy working with teams.
  2. People who enjoy technology and want to share this with our students
  3. Those creative types who are willing to lead groups and inspire.

Call Joy Jones at 479-268-0775 if you have an interest to help with the students and this program.

Sabbath Afternoon Activity on Sept. 7, from 2-5 p.m. for those that would like to ride horses.  Any school age kids are invited.

Home’s Needed  Would you consider hosting a foreign exchange student or two?  We have two different girls who could be in one home or into two separate homes, to families who are very accepting of students from another culture. They are already here, and because of circumstances, will need an immediate host family.  Please contact Linda Dale at 903-930-6738 if you are accepting of a high school aged student or two, from other cultures, and can make a difference in these student’s  lives.

Total Life Community Center

Hello church family! The TLC is in desperate need of food pantry items - canned goods (veggies, soup, beans), dry goods (spaghetti noodles, Mac & cheese, ramen, peanut butter, jelly, cereal), and loaves of bread. We are currently not able to give any food out because we are so low. Anything would be very much appreciated.

We also need volunteers to help out. Do you have an hour a week? If 5 people would commit to coming in to do one task a week you would be helping more than you can imagine. Come steam clothes for 30-60 minutes a week. Help straighten the store in the middle of the day (Mon. Or Wed.), or Tuesday morning between open days. We also need help hanging up clothes, collecting hangers, cleaning bathrooms, taking trash out. If you can commit to doing one of these things once a week, please contact Cleo Gilmore or Brooke Hiebert.
