Prayer Meeting Please join us for a special mid-week blessing each Wed. evenings from 7:00-8:00 p.m. We are studying the book Christ in the Sanctuary.

 

Church Office will be closed for the Labor Day holiday on Monday Sept. 6.

 

Prayer Meeting for the Youth (5th grade and up) will be on Wed. evening at 6:30 p.m.

 

 All Church Fellowship Meal will be following the church service today, Sept. 5. If you are visiting today please come and join us.

 

Men’s Ministry will meet after potluck, Sept. 5, in the west overflow room at 1:30 p.m. 

 

Total Life Community Center will begin the yearly Harvest Tree Food Drive on Sabbath, Sept. 12. This is a very special time of the year that you can contribute each week to help those in need in our community. You will see a list of items posted each week for the harvest tree. The first week, Sept. 12, will be peanut butter, jelly, and small-medium jugs or pods of laundry detergent.

 

Pickin’ on 59 It’s that time of the year again! Our 5th annual sale for Pickin’ Time on 59 starts on Sept. 24. We are looking to collect as many home goods, tools, children’s items, etc. as possible this next month as we prepare for the sale. Keep us in mind if you have any items you are looking to donate. We would also love to have any volunteers who may have time to help out. Reach out to Erin Summers if you have any questions.

 

Pathfinder Registration and First Club Meeting will be Tue., Sept. 8, at 6:00 p.m.at the Pathfinder building. This will be for age 10 and up.

 

Memorial Service for Danny Dean Hoskinson will be at the Gentry SDA Church on Sabbath afternoon Sept. 12, at 4:00 p.m.


Membership Cards are located in the side pocket of the greeter’s stands at both entrances. If you are interested in joining the Gentry church please fill out the small card and return to the Pastor or the church office.

Memorial Service for Robert Martin will be at the Gentry Church on Sept. 20, at 2:00 p.m.  


Become a Dorm Mom or Dorm Dude! Help an Ozark Adventist Academy dorm student feel connected to their Gentry Church family while away from home! “Adopt” a dorm student for the 2026-2027 school year through occasional notes, treats, encouragement, and prayer, Liz Baldwin will have student questionnaires available Sabbath, Sept. 19. You may also reach out to Liz anytime before then to select a student!

 

OAS 8th Grade Mission Trip Sept. 21-25 If you would like to donate to this project you can donate in the offering plate marked OAS 8th grade mission trip, or call the school office to pay with credit card. 479-279-8700, or mail a check to OAS, 21150 Dawn Hill East, Gentry, AR 72734 The students will work on projects at Camp Yorktown Bay

 

OAS Glow Ride on Saturday evening Sept.19 at 7:00 p.m. begins with a short vespers. Then a short ride to light up the community. Awesome prizes, for best decorated bike and top fundraiser prizes for the kiddos who raise the most funds.
