Guest Fellowship meal today will be hosted by the Deaconesses. If you are visiting with us today please come to the youth center.
Guest Fellowship meal for next Sabbath, Aug. 7, will be hosted by the Strickland/Bizama Sabbath School Class.
All Church Fellowship Meal will be moved to Aug. 21 instead of Aug. 14. The youth center floor will be stripped and waxed, and will not be in use from Aug. 9-20.
OAS School Registration will be Thursday, Aug. 5, from, 1:00-7:00 p.m. The first day of school will be Aug. 16.
Scholarship Money Needed The church is in need of $3,000 for the OAA matching fund. We have applicants in need of this money, but the Gentry church does not have any funds for these applicants. We would appreciate your donation so our young people can have an opportunity for a Christian education.
Ozark Adventist Academy Registration will be on Sunday, August 15, from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. Day student Registration will be Thursday, August 12, from 4:00 - 6:30 pm. Please call 479-736-2221 if you have not submitted an application or need information.
40 Day Prayer and Devotion Challenge The pastoral staff is challenging every member to take this 40 day journey in preparation for the Sept. 10-24 evangelistic meeting. Pick up your book today. There are only 100 books available so don’t delay. A $3.25 offering is encouraged.
Thank you to Irene Gilbert, Dena Norwood, and the ladies from the Siloam Springs church who took part in the Adventure Group for Blanketeering. We donated 28 to the Linus Project. They were well received by the children facing surgery, as evidenced by the big smiles. A special thank you to Dena Norwood who kept these classes moving in my absences. God bless you all. Dear Gentry Church Family Thank you so much for all of the kindness shown to our family the weekend of our father’s memorial. The nice meals and memorable service. The Window A 27 minute film will be shown today at 10:30 a.m., although translated from Spanish to English, this film depicts a story that really happened. I hope that each of us will become convinced that prayer and hospitality towards our neighbors will go a long way in sharing the love of God.
